Absolute fantastic meal tonight. We will not order Chinese food as it’s rubbish usually full of msg locally to us. However someone recommended this little gem and we will definitely return. Thank you for a lovely meal tonight.

Cannot recommend The Empress Restaurant and Takeaway in Tetney enough. We have had their deliveries since opening but decided to try their “dine in” service yesterday and were blown away!! For a small restaurant it was fantastic!! Loved the authentic decor and the ambience was lovely@. You would not know you were in a village, you literally could have been anywhere. The food was beyond excellent. Super delicious everything we ordered. It’s not often I come on social media but this little hidden gem needs promoting. Fantastic experience we will most definitely be repeating!

Best Chinese food we have all eaten, the food was delicious and all freshly cooked with quality ingredients. Despite being obviously very busy their standards remained excellent. This will definitely be our new go to local Chinese. Praise well deserved👏👏👌

This was our first attempt coming and it didn’t disappoint food was yummy the only thing we would have liked is to have more sauce on the Katsu curry has it was delicious and just didn’t cover the chicken xx

Wonderful food. Way better than almost every other Chinese I've tried. And it's not just Chinese; they have Singaporean, Korean, Japanese, Malaysian and Thai food too.

Had a number of Takeaways and slowly working my way through the menu ….problem is that each one is so good that it’s difficult to try another but it’s a tough job and someone’s got to do it so it might as well be me ……the best Asian dishes we have ever tasted and brilliant friendly staff ….an asset to the village

My partner works all over the country and he says he has never had a Chinese that tastes so good! Honestly the best Chinese EVER!!!! we have told all our family and friends about it and they’ve al tired it and said they will never go elsewhere. If you are thinking about trying PLEASE PLEASE do it, you WILL NOT be disappointed l!!! The lady who takes the orders is amazing and so polite! Honestly their customer services is unreal!! Everything about this place blows my mind!!
